3rd snow

It came to my attention that I never wrote about the first snow. That is mostly because.. I missed it. I was picking a friend up from the airport during the first snow in my town and when I got back it was already melting. Very light snow. After that there was more snow a couple days ago. The day I drove to New Jersey (which deserves a post in it self). It was snowing today with about an inch on the ground on the way to school. I figure everyone back home is probably a little afraid for me in the snow, especially considering San Diego drivers in the rain, but I am doing fine. Its not difficult, it just takes a bit more caution and predicting whats going to happen. Actually, this BMW drives pretty closely to how my 280Z did in the rain. I'll take some snow pictures this weekend hopefully. I don't have enough time during the week because it gets dark at 4:30pm, but school gets out at 5pm

Guitar + USPS = Catastrophy

So, I had a bit of a long Monday, which was concluded with receiving my guitar... in a couple more pieces than i'd have liked. So, I wanted to make the best of it. I took it into the studio and took a self portrait (with some help of course).









I wanted it to look like a Kurt Cobain picture... Later on after taking it I found this picture.

Today I went up in a small plane with three others and took pictures for assignment. I got to use the Nikon D3 and a couple lenses. I filled 2 memory cards. It was fun. The takeoff and landing were smoother than most commercial jets I've been in. Here are some photos from it.
